For Randy Clark, mortgage lending is personal. 

Randy has lived his entire life in Bloomington-Normal, giving him a deep connection to the community he serves and a firsthand understanding of what makes the area such a special place to call home. With 40 years of mortgage lending experience, a background in real estate, and decades of relationships throughout Central Illinois, Randy brings both professional expertise and local knowledge to every transaction. 

From Realtor to Mortgage Professional 

Randy's career in finance began while he was in college, where he studied Finance and Economics. At the time, he was also working as a realtor when he was recruited into the mortgage industry. 

His mentor saw potential in him as a lender, and Randy took the opportunity. Four decades later, he is still passionate about the work. 

Randy enjoys meeting with clients, listening to their goals, and helping them determine which mortgage program may make the most sense for them and their families. 

He is licensed to lend in all 50 states and specializes in Conventional, FHA, VA, new construction, and first-time homebuyer programs and grants.  

For Randy, his returning clients are one of the most meaningful parts of his career. Helping multiple generations of the same families is a reflection of the trust he has built over the years. 

A Deep Connection to Central Illinois 

Although Randy can lend nationwide, Bloomington-Normal remains home. 

His lifelong connection to the area allows him to offer relocating buyers something that goes beyond mortgage expertise: personal knowledge of the community. He enjoys sharing his familiarity with Bloomington-Normal with people who are moving to the area and helping them feel more at home in their new community. 

Randy has also spent much of his career serving the broader Central Illinois market and has managed mortgage lending operations in the region. 

His experience includes new construction lending, where he helps buyers finance a newly built home. The process often involves a different set of considerations than purchasing an existing property, making Randy’s expertise a must for nailing the details.  

Experience That Extends Beyond Mortgage Lending 

Randy is a member of the MIRA Hall of Fame and has served on multiple MIRA boards. He is also a former Illinois-licensed Realtor and has served as an instructor for the Illinois Bankers Association. 

Outside of the mortgage industry, Randy serves as President of the Charitable Trust Committee at Trinity Lutheran Church and as Secretary for Illinois State University's Empower the Nest. He is also a board member for the State Farm Holiday Classic, one of the largest high school basketball tournaments in the United States. 

A Lifelong Passion for Basketball 

Basketball has been a major part of Randy's life for as long as he can remember. In addition to following the sport, he has spent years coaching high school basketball. 

Coaching gives Randy another opportunity to do something he enjoys: work with people, help them develop and be part of a team working toward a common goal. 

When he is not working or coaching, Randy enjoys spending time with his family and volunteering in the community.
